My previous tile - CTO does not mean I am just a technical guy. On the contrary, the actual duty of my role is always about bring in new point of value with new concept and method in business. So I lead a complete business unit in a local office of one international leading agency to incubate new business in a rapid evolving market.
The experiences in different industries within diversified organization gave me the aptness to face the whole new world with a clear and precise angle.

Former J. Walter Thompson merged with Wunderman as Wunderman Thompson in 2019, then merged with VML&YR in 2024 to form a brand new brand VML - A new marketing marketing consultant network focusing on BX, CX and Commerce using creative, technology & data under WPP Group.
As a CTO in Taiwan office, lead the technology strategy, digital related service to clients also managed the whole Martech team (digital business unit) to development business.

As a marketing consultant to refine the branding system and marketing strategy.
Led the Dancing Wolves’ 2008 Olympics commercial film project (with celebrity Aaron Kwok Fu Shing), shooting in Taipei.
Director, Cyworld Taiwan. (Taiwan, 2007/2-2007/8)
Cyworld was an advanced social network service with avatar-like decoration before Facebook moved into Asia market in 2007.
As a marketing director to implement an unique social marketing campaign to acquire strategic members from cooperation with musicians including Mayday and some other independent bands to bring in fans to expand scale of members and flourish background music business in Cyworld Taiwan.
Single campaign (Live Concert of Mayday band, summer 2007) brought in more than 17K active member(+18%), more music sales(+30%), more music content usage(+240%) within one month,
Cooperation with Taipei city government and mobile telecom operators to have joint campaigns on brand new mobile service Mbus with Mayday. MBus was a service providing instant information of Bus arrival on each bus stop within personal mobile phone in Taipei city.
Whole growth of users was +31.5% within 5 months.
Project Manager of Managing Director office, BenQ China. (China, 2006/2-2006/9)
With the a new strategic branding concept and approach to cooperated with Mayday band’s roadshows in China to maximize brand awareness and preferability.
Marketing Manager, BenQ Corporation. (Taiwan, 2003/9-2006/2)
With an entrepreneur mindset to initial the new online music business combining hardware product (Joybee MP3 player) and music download service(QBand).
Formed up a 10-people team within 6 months, lunched the 1st online music service in Taiwan.
Signed the very famous singer Jolin Tsai as the spokeswoman of Joybee MP3 player. Successfully pushed the product sales towards the No.1 in Taiwan (25% of market share, 200K sales with revenue US$30M ) in 2004, No.4 in China market in 2004, 2005.
Signed the famous rock band Mayday as the spokesperson for Joybee MP3 player and mobile phone in great China market to help branding & sales growth cross NT$10B in China market.
Organized ver 80 roadshows in 2005~2006. Pushed the total revenue of BenQ crossed NT$10B in China market.

Using none-linear video production method (Apple’s Final Cut Pro) to develop a semi production-line workflow to deliver customized MV-like video within 3 days.

Production Manager, GreatChinaMusic.com. (Taiwan, 2000/9-2001/7)
Great China Music was a dotcom startup to provide professional photo shooting & singing recording service to general customers. The whole service will be competed within 1.5 hours. Through the shooting, picking the song, recording in professional studio with producers’ aid, the customers could get a well-designed & packed CD single in short time.
Establish & manage the facilities: hooting studio X1, graphic production line X2, vocal recording studio x6, mixing studio x1.
Led a team more than 50 people including the shooting, makeup, graphic design, music producing, sound recording teams. The talents ranging from photographers, makeup artists, designers, music producers, recording engineers, mixing engineers.
Mange all the equipments including lights, computers, scanners, printers, microphones, consoles, pre-amps, compressors, attests…etc.
Music Producer, Arranger, Composer. (Taiwan, 1991/1-1999/12)
Started as a singer and writer but played as a producer, arranger in early 20’.
Confident and familiar with techniques and flows in music production, including midi sequencing, arranging, sampling, recording, mixing and mastering.
Owned a personal studio with many equipments like synthesizers, samplers, sound modules, pre-amps, compressors, equalizers, reverbs, delays. All the toys can still function now.
